At His Mother’s Funeral, a Dog’s Bark Leads a Son to a Terrifying Discovery

At his father Arnold’s funeral, Ryan is stunned when his dog, Bella, suddenly bursts into the church and begins barking wildly at the closed casket. Alarmed by her behavior, Ryan insists the casket be opened—only to find it completely empty.

His mother collapses in shock. The funeral director is just as baffled, offering no explanation. Ryan quickly contacts the police. Things get even stranger when the coroner’s office reveals that the coroner recently resigned—and Arnold’s file has mysteriously vanished.

Suspicious, Ryan starts digging. He visits his late father’s company, which he now runs, and notices something else odd: a set of figurines that Arnold deeply valued is missing from his office.
