As children with Crouzon syndrome grow older, they often face worsening symptoms such as crossed eyes (strabismus), hearing loss, and even vision loss. Physical disabilities are common, and in some cases, intellectual disabilities may also develop.

Still, with early diagnosis and proper medical care, many individuals with Crouzon syndrome can live well into adulthood. Sadly, there is currently no known way to prevent the condition.
