Though Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner officially divorced in 2018 after separating in 2015, the two have maintained a respectful co-parenting relationship for the sake of their three children: Samuel, 15, Finn, and Violet, 19.

Recently, Affleck was spotted out for a casual walk in Los Angeles with his two older kids, Violet and Finn.

The outing appeared to be a special reunion—Violet had just arrived to visit her dad. The Oscar-winning actor looked genuinely thrilled to see his daughter, who is currently a student at Yale University. Violet, who bears a striking resemblance to her mom, wore light blue skinny jeans, a Yale sweatshirt, and glasses. She carried a face mask in one hand and kept her long hair down.

She shared a warm hug with her dad, and the two were later seen walking arm-in-arm across the street. Ben kept it low-key in tan chinos, a layered blue button-down over a white tee, and a navy jacket. Finn also kept things casual, dressed in black cargo pants and a long-sleeved dark sweater, with their hair styled in two pigtails.

As for Ben’s living situation, the recent wildfires that tore through parts of Los Angeles earlier this year fortunately didn’t damage his new home in Pacific Palisades. However, he did relocate to a mansion in Brentwood—reportedly the same area he moved to after his split from Jennifer Lopez.

Lopez, who has reportedly been in touch with her ex-husband Affleck, expressed concern for his safety during the wildfires and shared heartfelt sympathies for those who were affected by the devastation.
