The world’s heaviest woman, who consumed a lot of milkshakes and weighed fifty stone, is no longer recognizable.

Once crowned the world’s heaviest woman at 643 pounds, Pauline Potter faced a life of extreme limitations. Walking just a few steps left her gasping for air, and she relied on others for basic needs.

Her emotional relationship with food and unhealthy habits took a serious toll, but when her health began to deteriorate, Pauline knew something had to change.

Rather than jumping straight into surgery, she started by taking responsibility—trading fast food for balanced meals, moving her body a little more each day, and pushing through emotional challenges. Eventually, with diet, exercise, and later weight loss surgery, she shed over 500 pounds.

Pauline’s transformation stunned doctors and inspired many. No longer confined to her bed, she found joy in walking, dancing, and living independently.

Now an advocate for health and self-love, she reminds others: no matter how far gone things seem, change is always within reach—with determination, patience, and heart.
