Lightning strikes four men standing under tree in a Gurgaon park, all fall to the ground

Caught in an unexpected storm, four men huddled beneath a tree in a Gurgaon park—only to be struck by lightning. The powerful bolt knocked them to the ground in an instant, a moment captured on video that’s since gone viral.

Witnesses said the weather changed quickly, with dark clouds and thunder rolling in fast. As rain began to pour, the men chose the tree for cover—unaware it would become a lightning rod.

Though all four were injured, none were killed. Onlookers rushed to help, and emergency services arrived swiftly. The victims suffered burns and shock but are expected to recover.

The incident is a chilling reminder: during storms, avoid trees and open areas. Instead, seek shelter indoors or in a vehicle.
