“1,000-lb Sisters” Star Reveals Remarkable 400-Pound Weight Loss and Skin Surgery

Tammy Slaton, known from 1000-Lb Sisters, has amazed fans with her life-changing transformation. Growing up, she and her sister Amy turned to unhealthy food for comfort—especially after losing their grandmother.

By 2020, Tammy weighed 717 pounds and was battling serious health issues. A year later, she was placed on life support and received a tracheostomy—a wake-up call that sparked real change.

During 14 months in rehab, Tammy found love, lost her husband, and began reclaiming her health. She had weight loss surgery in 2022, dropped over 400 pounds, and recently had 15 pounds of excess skin removed.

Now at 285 pounds, Tammy shares her journey on TikTok, proving that determination and second chances can lead to something incredible.
