The world is saying goodbye to Jonathan “Johnny” Reynolds, a music legend and humanitarian who passed away peacefully at 78 in Memphis.
For over 60 years, Johnny blended jazz, rock, blues, and folk, creating timeless hits like Whispering Wind and Echoes of the Heart. His 1960s album Soulful Strings became the soundtrack for a generation.
But Johnny was more than music. He founded the Harmony Foundation to bring music education to kids in need, earning a Humanitarian of the Year award in 1994. Despite his fame, he stayed humble, always believing music could unite us all.
Friends remember him as a mentor and storyteller. Though his voice is silent, his message of unity lives on.
