An enormous eagle with a wingspan measuring nearly 10 feet has been captured near the U.S.-Mexico border, leaving locals stunned and wildlife experts buzzing with curiosity.
The massive bird was first spotted by a group of hikers, who were shocked by its size and majestic appearance. Word quickly reached local authorities and wildlife biologists, who launched an effort to safely track and capture the bird.
After several days of monitoring, the eagle was successfully secured and transported to a conservation facility in Brownsville, Texas. Scientists there are now conducting tests to learn more about the bird’s origins, diet, and biology.
Experts are considering whether the eagle could be a newly discovered subspecies, or perhaps just an extraordinarily large example of a known species like the golden eagle or bald eagle. Either way, the discovery has sparked major interest in the scientific community and beyond.
