We all have regrets, but for Ethan “ModBoy” Bramble, his are written all over his face—literally. The Australian body modification enthusiast has spent years altering his appearance with over 200 tattoos, split tongue, stretched ears, and even a removed belly button.

Ethan began modifying his body at just 11 years old, but now in his 20s—and a father—he’s rethinking those choices, especially the tattoos on his face. “I don’t just regret them,” he said in an interview with LadBibleTV. “I wish I’d thought more about how I wanted to be perceived.”

Walking his daughter to school has made him more aware of how others see him. “I probably wouldn’t want her to deal with this kind of attention,” he said.

To undo some of the damage, Ethan’s been undergoing painful laser tattoo removal for over a year. Though it’s been tough, he says it’s helping ease the anxiety and mental toll his extreme look brought on. “I’m just clearing the canvas,” he shared, hopeful for a fresh start.
