In a heartbreaking accident that shook the town of Hurricane, Utah, 4-year-old Kache Wallis was found dead inside a toy chest in his bedroom after disappearing overnight in July 2021.
Kache’s grandmother discovered he was missing the next morning and called police. Despite a thorough initial search, he wasn’t found until later—tragically inside the toy chest where he had accidentally trapped himself. The medical examiner ruled his cause of death as positional asphyxiation.
