Tragedy Strikes As Hot Air Balloon Crash Kills 8 Of 21 On Board

A tragic hot air balloon accident in Praia Grande, Brazil, claimed the lives of eight people on June 21. According to Santa Catarina state governor Jorginho Mello, the balloon was carrying 21 passengers at the time of the crash. Thirteen people survived and were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.

The Santa Catarina Military Fire Department confirmed that four victims were pronounced dead at the scene. Rescue crews are still working to locate all passengers and are providing assistance to grieving families.
