Sometimes, a simple change in appearance—like a new haircut or fresh outfit—can make a world of difference. That was certainly true for Rosa Ramirez, a woman from the U.S. who hadn’t cut her hair in 25 years.
Over those two and a half decades, Rosa’s hair grew so long that it trailed behind her—and occasionally, she’d even step on it. She donated about four feet of her hair to Locks of Love, a nonprofit that provides wigs to children who’ve lost their hair due to cancer and other medical conditions.
