Barney Bubble, a rescue cat with an adorably oversized nose, has captured hearts worldwide since arriving at Rescue Cats Northern Ireland in July 2024. Found alone in Parkanaur Forest, Barney was unneutered, unchipped, and in need of care.
Now best friends with another rescue cat named Boss, Barney is known for his gentle nature, constant affection, and bottomless appetite. Vets say his large nose isn’t cancer but a fungal infection called Cryptococcus, which is improving with treatment.
“He’s the most easygoing cat we’ve ever had,” the rescue said, celebrating his recovery and charm.
